Eddys or breyers ice cream?!?!!

why do they call it eddys ice cream at some places, its so werid?!?!?!?!

Edy's is called Dreyer's in some parts of the country- like Hellmann's mayo is called Best Foods west of the Rockies (I don't know why). Anyway, Edy's is my favorite- especially Cookies 'n Cream and Espresso Chip!!!

It's regional .....  I've never understood that either.  You'd think it would be less money to make the same packaging for the entire country

Well, I like Edy's ice cream, it is so creamy!  

I researched Breyers to see if Eddy's was listed under the same distributor, but was not.  UNILEVER controls Breyers products. Please check out link below.
