The twosome of Elena and Lei did not show any sign of bewilderment after this loss and made amends in the very next game.
This time they changed their tactics and launched an intensive attack. They pushed the opposing team on the back-foot by gathering valuable points at a steady pace.
They managed to place a mountainous total of 11 before the announcement of the break and then pocketed full benefits of this initial lead in second half.
They maintained a significant difference of nine points and swept the table with an overwhelming figure of 21-12.
The decider became consequential with this development and both pairs put all they had to fetch a vital match point for their teams.
However, NSW Thunder campaigners tipped the scale in their favour. They displayed superior finishing skills and locked the honour with an 11-point lead in concluding result of 21-10.
