Eden Star and Farloe Ironman fight to conquer the Heat 18 (5 to qualify) at Wimbledon on 28th April, 2012
Farloe Ironman, Droopys Jet, Dixies Air, Eden Star and Ruthless Man will compete in the Heat 18 (5 to qualify) at Wimbledon on 28th April, 2012, for the purse of £110 over 480 metres.
Eden Star will enter the race as a race favourite with winning odds of 10 to 11, and will break from trap 5 in an attempt to succeed.
The son of Top Savings, out of Aranock Val, has experience of racing at Wimbledon before, something which will definitely work in his favour.

He has also raced at Sheffield, Belle Vue and Romford among other venues.
The black and white hound began his career on 19th May, 2011, where he landed a massive victory of 5 lengths over, Hes The Stig, at Sheffield over a distance of 480 metres.
Over the course of his career, he has maintained his consistency and has an impressive record with sixteen victories and three finishes as a runner-up.

Wimbledon has been lucky for him, as he defeated, Meadow Bank Owl, by 7 lengths on 18th April, 2012, in 28.64 seconds over a distance of 480 metres.
Trainer B. Draper is hoping for an encore of his performance so he can add another victory to his already shining record.
Farloe Ironman is in good shape, and will tackle any obstacle that comes between him and hitting the wire first.
The son of Premier Fantasy, out of Farloe Reserve, started his career with a respectable third place finish at Swindon on 15th February, 2011.
The black and white hound is much accomplished with fourteen victories in his twenty-two starts.

He started his season with a second-place finish, as he fell a mere length behind, Magna Buddy, in the Grade IR Betdaq Premier League - 1st Rnd - Leg 3 Standard A on 14th January, 2012.
On 11th April, 2012, he defeated, Blackrose Bullet, by 3 ½ lengths in 28.83 seconds over a distance of 480 metres.

The M. Dartnall trained hound lost to, Bowtime Sykes, by 3 lengths on 20th April, 2012. These performances are examples of how well the hound can perform at Wimbledon.
The speculation is that, Eden Star, will take the race, but it will certainly not be cake walk for him, as he will be racing against some of the best competitors. Farloe Ironman will be the biggest thorn to stand in the way to his victory.
Both these hounds are in contention, but it seems that Eden Star has the upper hand.
