Edge the wrestler and his wife?

Question

Ok so i just recently got into watching wrestling a few months ago after my bf made me watch it. What i want to no is what is up with Edge and his wife our those skits or is that really how their life is together and what makes them hate each other. Can't that be spousal abuse what he does to her? Why don't they just get divorced? And why is she in a wheal chair. just a few things i want to find out Thanks

It's scripted lol, and Rey Mysterio did the 619 to Vickie Guerrero at the Royal Rumble, that is why she is in a wheel chair.

Haha, wrestling is choreographed.  Everything is based upon a storyline that is developed for each wrestler.  I have not watched wrestling in a VERY long time, so I cannot comment upon the particular story that you've mentioned, but I'm sure that Edge and his wife have a happy marriage.  Be careful that it doesn't pull you in too far  ;)

They're not married in real life. It's just for the show. In real life, Vickie was married to a wrestler who is now dead [RIP Eddie], while Edge is not with anyone.

Basically though Edge and Vickie started a relationship. Edge was only in it because he wanted to get to the top of the wrestling world. He wanted titles and since Vickie is general manager she can give it to him. Edge's biggest rival was Undertaker who ended up taking Edge's title, The World Heavyweight Championship. Edge started using Vickie to help him cheat and defeat Undertaker to get his title back. Edge cheated at the PPV One Night Stand and got Undertaker "banished" from the WWE thanks to Vickie. Edge ended up losing his title to CM Punk who is on the other brand, RAW, and now Edge can't get the title back. That led to marital problems with Vickie and they fought for a while because he thought she was controlling him. He called off the wedding for a while, but eventually made up with her. At the Edge/Vickie wedding, Vickie found out that Edge had been cheating with the wedding planner and she decided to make his life h**l. She decided to bring back Undertaker to fight Edge in a cage match known as h**l in a Cell. Undertaker wants revenge and is going to get it on Edge tomorrow at Summerslam. All of that caused Edge to go mentally unstable and he is now basically psychotic and is pissed at what Vickie did and is taking it out on her.

Oh, and Vickie supposedly needs the wheelchair because she was tombstoned by Undertaker and claimed her back was in too much pain. She can really walk perfectly fine though.

No, I don't think they're really married.

I think the reason why they hate each other, or Vickie hates Edge because of an affair he had on their "wedding" night with Wedding Coordinator, Alicia Fox..

Oh, and the reason why Vickie was glued in a wheelchair, because The Undertaker gave her the Tombstone about...9 months ago..

So, Undertaker has been reinstated, so Edge is facing The Undertaker in a h**l in a Cell, tomorrow.

It is all staged.  They stage all that to make the show interesting and so that viewers will "enjoy" the show more.
