I want to make as many of the gifts for Christmas this year as I can and I was wondering if there is anything I could make that wouldn't take too long?

I already have a fudge recipe (both chocolate and vanilla fudge).

  1. Shortbread cookies, mincemeat tarts.

  2. rice crispy treats in red and green colors

  3. Have you thought about the Jar Cookies? You buy canning Jars and you fill them with all the dry ingredients and a little tag that says what kind they are and how to make them. They are a great gift idea and people love them.

  4. you can buy some cocoa powder (sweetened or unsweetened), powdered milk (or the dairy free kind like Carnation), mini marshmallows, sugar, and a bunch of mason jars.  hand it out as hot cocoa mix

they even have little plastic bags that are in shapes of cones.  you can layer the different powders according to ratio with the marshmallows on top, then tie them with a cute ribbon

  5. COOKIES! My dad makes really good itallin cookies checkout this website for more ideas

one is for cookin one is my own little website!

  7. always cookies, but its kinda old fashond, you can do a sugar cookie and as soon as they come out you smush a hurshey kiss into the top and sprinkle red sprinkles on it, very holiday. you can make chocolate cover pretzals, and put them in little tins, then there is the chex mix sweet choices. you use chex mix with pralenes and pecans and you smother the chex in it and then bake it again to let it get hard and crispy, or melt peanut butter and chocolate together and mix the chex in it and put them in a zip lock baggy and shake em with powdered sugar and put them in a tin as well. my mother does all ofthe above and gives them out at christmas. its my favorite part. she would go to the dollar store and by baskets and ribbon, little coco packets and make it look expensive and give a gift basket full of goodys to a whole house full as a family gift, not just an aunt or uncle, get a cinnamon stick or some vanilla bean(whole) and place them in the basket of ribbon with the food. good luck
