  1. the whole of it...castles...museums,the underground city  and pubs!

  4. The Shopping is really good! They have tonnes of little Vintage boutiques!

The Castle is wonderful! I wouldn't leave without visiting here first!

Camera Obscura (if it's still there) is such a fun place! See if you can pick up a leaflet when you get there.

Mary Kings Close is a tour of an underground street. Its definately worth a visit - really creepy (as its said to be haunted) but really fascinating. The lights went out for a few minutes when i went!

The Edinburgh Dungeon is such an exciting attraction! It's not a real dungeon, more like a walk-through 'haunted-house' style museum. It's a really interactive, fun tour of the history of Edinburgh including a torture chamber, 'clan wars' and sawney bean the cannibal!

I'd alse recomend going on one of the night-time tourrs of the city. There's tonnes to choose from and they're all very entertaining!

It's also worth going to the zoo and taking a walk up Arthur's seat or up to the observatory for some great views of the city.

Also, out side of Edinburgh you should take a trip to Rosslyn Chapel which has become famous through 'The Da Vinci code'. I visited before the book was such a success so i don't know if it's become overloaded with tourists but it's certainly a beautiful building.

Also, in the same kind of direction is North Berwick which is a lovely little town which has a gorgeous beach and some spectacular views of bass rock.
