Manchester City forward, Edin Dzeko could be on his way to AC Milan as talks between the two clubs have started to pick up pace.
Dzeko went on to make his arrival at the Etihad Stadium back in January of last year. He was signed by the Manchester based club for a fee of around twenty seven million pounds, following his impressive spell with Wolfsburg.
However, with the striker not being one of the first choices at the club he has started to look to pursue his career elsewhere.
For the time being, AC Milan are reported to be the favourites to land the striker and based on the rumours that are floating about, the move could take place in the near future.
City are reportedly looking forward to landing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 from Arsenal and in order for them to make a move for the striker, they need to offload some of their strikers.
As a result, it seems like letting Dzeko leave could be the best possible choice for the team, as it could help them move forward.
Milan have been linked with moves for City forwards for quite some time now. The team was previously linked with a move for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937. However, both those moves failed to materialize, as there were a number of complications that stood
in the way of the deal.
Nonetheless, with Dzeko now being available for a transfer, things could go about a whole lot differently for the team.
The two teams are reportedly holding initial talks over a transfer and the only thing left to discuss is a transfer fee.
City aren’t going to be willing to let him go for a fee which is substantially less then what they paid and it seems like they are holding out for Milan to make a better offer for the player.
On the other hand, with the team being interested in Van Persie, the club could end up offering http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 a swap deal for Dzeko and Van Persie, while offering them some cash as well.
However for the time being it is going to be a wait to see just how the striker situation at the clubs plays out.
