theres a few things i want to know i havent been able to find out/ gave up through lazyness.

so, were going to Edinburgh, staying two nights mid july.

only thing weve got planned is a trip to the zoo. we need someware to stay, close to everything or at least most things. needing around £55 per person per night tops, preferably less but not too cheap and nasty, no hostels, S****y B&Bs etc....

other thing is a nice Italian Resturant, not flashy at all, and it needs to be someware within a reasonable distance of above suggested hotels preferably. It also needs to cater to fussy eaters like me. (Realy realy fussy)

next.... good pubs, good old fashioned old man pubs if you know what i mean, wetherspoons type of thing, no clubs or "bars" just a pub.

finally... other things to do generally, obviously the zoo, mabys the dungeons but what else is there to do?

much thanks.

  1. Are you English? as you can see by the above answers, they dislike the English up there.

  2. For B&B try Kinnaird Guest House in Morrison Street. £30-£60 per room per night.

For real pubs try Diane's Pool Hall.

For Italian restaurant try Ferri's opposite the Playhouse.

There's always something to do in Edinburgh. It's the cultural capital of the world.
