Edinburgh - chinese restaurants?

Question

Hi - can anyone in Edinburgh suggest some good chinese restaurants in the city centre. We are staying for a few days and our friends daughter wants to have a chinese meal for her birthday while we are there.

Needs to be within the city centre - walking distance from princes / george street etc.

Would be grateful for any ideas - also average prices if known.

There Jimmy Chungs which is a buffet restuarant, which is right next to a place called Jasmine, off Lothian Road beside the Usher Hall which is getting done up.

A quiet but friendly staff and great food make the Peking resturant a MUST on my list.

Have a look at www.list.co.uk - the eating and drinking section gives reviews and guides prices on all restaurants and you can search under Chinese. In the city centre, I think Kweilin is probably the best - and it's right off George Street. However, to be honest the Thai restaurants are probably better - best Chinese's are out of town.

I know not Chinese but well worth the visit Khubla Khans Mongolian in Leith yum yum
