lovely city with a lot of history. nice to walk around town and various decent clubs and pubs. there's plenty to do....

especially if you come in august when the fringe is on, that's when the city's at its liveliest. :)

great places to see!hollyrood palace,scottish parliament,dynamic earth(all within 5 min walk of each other)old town,ednburgh castle,art galleries(all located quite near each other too)modern art gallery,botanic gardens,new town(all close again)many bars and resturants to suit all tastes,good pubs and clubs(lots have free entry before 11pm)theatres,(playhouse,kings theatre etc)arthurs seat,(has 2 lochs and lovley veiws from summit),also calton hill,braid hills,water of leith walkway,duddingston loch (for nature lovers)edinburgh has good vibe,is friendly,and id recomend it to anyone,can be quite windy and cold but scenery etc makes up for this
