The Uruguayan forward has been in scintillating form for the Partenopei side ever since his move from Palermo in 2010.

Commenting on the motivation behind his commitment, the star reflected that he wants to leave behind good memories, and is not affected by the economic value bestowed on his services. The Napoli striker commented:

friendly match.
The 25-year-old has been constantly linked with several top clubs across Europe with Manchester United and Real Madrid touted as possible destinations for the striker. On a slightly different topic, Cavani stated that it is very
hard to remain unnoticed in Naples, and there is constant stress at the city, deeming it difficult to bear at times.
“You cannot have a private life, but on the other hand the fans are formidable, so passionate and ready to unite with the team at any minute.”
While on the topic of his inspirations, Cavani spoke of his admiration for Argentine legend, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabriel-c14281 Batistuta. The former Palermo striker likened himself to Batistuta, and insists that he has similar playing style to the striker.

“I think we are players with similar characteristics, which is perhaps why I see myself more in Batistuta than Enzo Francescoli, who was Uruguay’s biggest star.”
