This summer I want to let you know that I want to be saving for a piccolo. Now I am not going to make you pay for it I just want to let you know that I am going to do this. I am going to save the money that I make from lobstering and babysitting in to it. Now I want to do this because I love the flute and I want to try different kinds of ways of playing it. I have talked to my band teachers and they say that having a piccolo in the high school band would be a good thing to have and that I would be perfect person for the job. If my band teachers think I can do it, then I think I can do it. I have been doing a little research on the piccolo and finding the price ranges, what I have found is great. If you look in the right spot then they are only about 100-200 dollarswhich is good for me because that is about the same amount of money I will make when I work. One of the reasons why I think I should be aloud to get one is because I have been doing so well it school. From getting all good grades, and getting a lot of awards this year, because of my school work. But not just with my school work but also with drill. I have been working so hard on drill lately and I have been very stressed out about going to sea cadet boot camp and I am very nevus about. Now you may be thinking that when you get this piccolo you are not going to want to play my new flute that you have just gotten me. Well that is not true I will be playing them the same. (Yes maybe the first week I will be playing it more but hay don’t we always play with new things more?) Having a piccolo and playing the piccolo in band is a really big plus in my band life. It will help me get in to all kinds of things like Jazz band, districts 3 honors band and also All States. Another thing you might be thinking is that I might get it and find out that I don’t like it any more well I know that is not going to be true because I have play the piccolo a few times and when I had gotten started I could not stop my self. The plans for me are set, all I need is to find the right piccolo and most importantly I need your help. I need you to let me do this. Please think about it I really need this.
