Editing an image.? 2 into 1?

how can I put two pictures together? kind of 2 in 1

1. Start

2. Programs

3. Accessories

4. PAINT

--------------------------------------...

1. Open 'Paint' 2 times.

2. Then open each picture in each 'Paint' you opened.

3. Simply click on the first picture.

4. Press CTRL+A

5. Then press CTRL+X

6. Click on the second picture.

7. Press CTRL+V

There it is !

Lots of programs can do this but I would suggest Photoshop, and Illustrator.
