Editing my birthday photos?

my birthday's on sunday and i feel like it's really gonna be a great one. just for history. i never had a good birthday...something bad always happens but this year i feel a different vibe. although i'm here alone with no family. i'm just really feeling it but i need some info on editing. i have photo shop but don't know how to use it at all. what a waste right? somebody please help me!!!!!! oh, i'm gonna 22:)
