Editing photo.?

There is something on top of a image is there anyway to remove that and look at whats underneath?

its on the computer and its a part I need to see so I just cant edit it out.

and its not a picture I have so I cant go back to the orgional.

  1. I'm not exactly sure what you are saying, but it you mean that someone placed one image over another (or text over an image), and then saved it that way, then your answer depends on the type of file you have and the way it was saved.

    If it's a compressed image, such as a jpg or gif, there is no way to see items "beneath" other items - the image has been flattened.

    If it's a tif or psd or other layered file, it may not have been flattened.  You will need an image editor such as Adobe Photoshop to see the layers if they are still intact.
