Editing software.?

Question

So i have a panasonic SDR-S10P/PC cam corder. I would like to use it to record my video's for youtube instead of my crappy web-cam..the problem is my cam corder comes with its own editing software called "Motion SD Studio"..the thing is i have NO CLUE how to use it..i've been using window's movie maker for a while so i would like to keep using that (it took me forever to learn it) the problem is once i video tape myself with my cam corder and try to upload it up using windows movie maker i can't find the file.Is there anyway to save somewhere else so i can upload it with WMM or should i just go buy the 140.00 web cam at best buy...LOL...

A camcorder is still better in recording video than a webcam.

You have passed the initiation stage in video editing thru win movie maker. The software supplied, 'Motion SD Studio', will surely give you another perpective in editing... a better one since you can edit the imported video files straight away. Whereas, you will definitely have to a.) transfer SDR-S10P/PC files thru windows explorer to pc, and  b.) convert (via Prism or Super) these files to avi or wmv, an extra step outside wmmaker, before editing in win movie maker.

Believe me, you'll survive...video editing is almost similar for intermediate editors.
