how do you put a shinning light that looks like a star in your photo?

You can do that on photoshop.

1. Open a picture on photoshop.

2. Click on "Brush Tool" on the left side of the screen. Or simply    Press 'B'. Then choose the "Flowing Stars" on the Brush Palette. Put "Opacity to 100% and "Flow" to 100%.

3. Start creating stars on your picture where ever you want to. You can choose different colors for the star.And you can increase of decrease the size of the star.

4. After you have finished drawing stars. On the top of the window, click "Filter", then click "Render" and then "Lens Fare".

5. Place the light right in middle of the star you have created,  And press OK. Put the "Brightness" to 100% and change the "Lens type" to "105mm prime"

You can do that repeatedly on all the stars.
