Editor for a major educational/textbook publishing company?

What do you think of this position? I saw an opportunity and pretty much have all the skills desired for the position. I'm young and I want to try something new for a little while to see if it might work for me. I have about 4 years of experience as a classroom teacher. I also have an undergraduate degree in Communication. Is this a good career move? I'm not ready to apply now. I want to teach for another year or two. But please tell me what you think?

Also, what would the starting/average salary look like for a position like this?

I've heard mixed reviews about this type of career. I have some friends that work in the Education field and love it. I've also talked to some people that left the job after a week. Sometimes you can pick this work up part time or by assignment. Why don't you try doing that while you teach or during the summer and see if you like it?
