I have a 2006 Honda Accord. It appraised at $10,505.00 using Kelly Blue Book online and $12,225.00 using Edmonds online appraisal system. I MADE SURE AND ENTERED THE IDENTICAL INFORMATION WITH BOTH APPRAISALS.

  1. Goes to show you, you can't trust either! They only provide rough averages which are a couple to a few thousand over whata dealer IS gonna give you. They don't ake into account market issues and such. None of those websites are actually "in the market to buy" cars, hence not knowing the actual cash value (ACV). Lastly, dealers are always gonna work to give you less so they can turn around and make a good profit off of you. Do you research online and use it with a grain of salt. Price your car based on your local car mags and paper and average pricing to be fair. Remember that your car is probably not in excellent condiiton as only 5% of them are!
