Edmonton Oilers’ right winger Taylor Hall set to come back after the shoulder injury
Canadian professional ice hockey player a prospect of Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League, Taylor Hall would be featuring for Oklahoma City Barons in the American Hockey League (AHL) very shortly as he has been cleared to play after the injury.
Paul Krepelka, the agent of the 20-year-old player revealed that the explosive striker will add another danger man to an already explosive Barons team, which includes many Edmonton Oilers’ players.
Hall had injured his shoulder and was going through a rehab period for last few days and was getting paid for it, even though there is a lockout in the NHL. But now he would be at the Oklahoma City Barons’ home to sign the new contract with the minor league
team, which are affiliates of Edmonton Oilers.
While he has going through the rehab period and on the injured reserves list, he was training with the Western Hockey League (WHL) side Edmonton Oil Kings, who are also the affiliates of the Oil Kings.
Among the players, who Hall will join in the Barons team, are Jordan Eberle, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Justin Schultz and many others.
It would be interesting to see how all of them pair up and perform against the minor league teams. Many people would be excited to see them play together and it will surely make the league much more interesting than it was before.
While talking to the ESPN magazine, Krepelka revealed that his client would be training with the Barons and he would feel that he is ready to have a go at it, and then he will start playing and will get the clearance. The agent of the player said,
"He's going to go down there and work out with them for a couple weeks until he feels good enough to get the clearance and the go-ahead”.
Krepelka also mentioned the fact that Hall is eager to start playing as he has a hunger to play, being a hockey player but they will make sure it is the right time when he does so. He added,
"We'll have to go through the process of making sure he's adequately insured. He wants to play, he's a hockey player."
