The Argentine’s agent hails the Partenopei side’s signing of the Chilean international, and denies reports of Lavezzi’s exit from Stadio San Paolo...
The agent of Napoli striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eduardo-Vargas-c12087 at Stadio San Paolo.
Lavezzi is heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan at the end of the ongoing season. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 recently signed a new striker, Vargas, to strengthen their attack department. Reports suggest that the Chilean is signed as replacement
to Lavezzi.
Agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, has hailed the signing of Vargas, and insists that he is a top quality purchase by the club. He added that the 22-year-old has great technical ability, and predicts a bright future for him.
While talking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Mazzoni insisted,
“I believe that Napoli have purchased in Vargas a player who can become important. He is very quick and a technical player, but must settle well to reach his best in Italian football. He needs to be left alone to acclimatise to
this new reality.”
Mazzoni insisted that El Pocho is eager to return to the first-team after picking up an injury recently. He insisted that the player has demanded some time off from the club, and wants to spend time with his family. The agent rejected
talks of the Argentinean leaving the club, and insisted that he is committed to the Azzurri.
“It is absolutely not true that the arrival of Vargas preludes the departure of Lavezzi. Napoli is always thinking ahead but when you say that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 pulled out of the race for Vargas so as to sign Lavezzi, it is one big lie. Lavezzi
will not be leaving; he is not on the market.”
Lavezzi’s contract with the Partenopei outfit runs until the summer of 2015, and he is expected to honour his deal with the club. The 26-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Premier League side, Manchester City, too,
and it is believed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 will try his luck again with a summer bid.
The Argentine international has scored three goals and has bagged six assists so far this season.
