The agent of Napoli striker, Eduardo Vargas, is confident that his client will prove his worth at the Stadio San Paolo. However, he believes that the Chilean striker needs some time to acclimatise himself to the conditions in Italy.

Vargas joined Napoli from Chilean club, Universidad de Chile, for approximately 10 million Euros in the January transfer window. The young striker was handed his first start by Walter Mazzarri in a Coppa Italia game against Cesena
last month. However, it proved to be a nightmare for the striker, as he failed to make an impact in the match, and scored an own-goal before being substituted at the half-time.

Mazzarri later admitted to his mistake for playing the Chilean international too early in his Azzurri career.

Recent reports in Italy suggested that the 22-year-old is getting frustrated with life at Napoli, and is seeking a move away from the club. However, his agent, Cristian Ogalde, has turned down such rumours and insists that the
striker is acclimatising well to the conditions in Naples and he is happy with life in city.

While talking to the reporters, the agent said,

“Vargas is facing a particular process of acclimatization. Edu has not been able to play as wished, nor has he been able to give what I know he can. He is beginning to adapt to a new team and is happy in Naples.Edu is understanding
how to settle in a new city and is learning a language which is different to his.”

He insists that Vargas is aware of the challenges he has to face at the club, and he is ready to prove himself.

“A club that boasts such great strikers as [Edinson] Cavani, [Ezequiel] Lavezzi, [Marek] Hamsik and [Goran] Pandev can undoubtedly be considered to be at the highest level, and Vargas will gradually try to find more space within
it.” added Ogalde

The striker has made just one appearance for the Partenopei side so far. He has scored two goals in nine appearances for the Italian national team.
