  1. There should be a balance between intelligence and patriotism to the point where we're smart enough to realize when the fight is worth it, or if it needs to be fought at all.

  2. Depends on the type of education! If your education down plays all that is good with your society and culture and hammers home that being patriotic is bad then education will not produce Patriotism in a citizen!

If your education encourages you to take a clear objective view of your society and culture, so that you see both the positives as well as the negatives of your culture then Patriotism is possible in a citizen.

If your education downplays the negative and displays all that is glorious about your society and culture then Patriotism is inevitable in a citizen.

  3. Education brings knowledge, and usually leads to questions. If the country is a good country for its' citizens, all well and good, but if not, the questions usually do NOT lead to patriotism. Also, education that does not include valid history is not as helpful as, say, pure technical education, that may not lead to questions about the country itself.

  4. Patriotism comes from family values and your community. A school or other education facility can teach it all they want but true patriotism can only come from the home and people you are surrounded with.

  5. This question should be asked in the Education and Reference category in the subcategory of Homework Help.

  6. Education leads you to ask questions.

  7. Patriotism:   devoted love, support, and defense of ones country; national loyalty.

Education:   the act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgment, and generally of preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life.

    2. the act or process of imparting or acquiring particular knowledge or skills, as for a profession.

    3. a degree, level, or kind of schooling: a university education.

    4. the result produced by instruction, training, or study: to show ones education.

    5. the science or art of teaching; pedagogics.

It would depend on how and where you received an education and the enviorment where you were raised. The values that were giving to you by your parents/parent. I believe that education, learning can make you a patriot even if you have not served in the military. My mom is 85 years old and she is a Patriot from what she has contributed to our nation in her life time.

I can understand the anology in the question and in answer to the question I would explain that although someone may have numerous degrees from Harvard does not make them a patriot unless they have contributed something to better our great nation and not for their own personnel gains.

I Love My Country however dont have to like some who are in it.

  8. school makes you want to die

education brings knowledge yes, but if you ar educated in a constitution, wich most schools are. they dont lead to questions they lead to blind acceptance and waking up in the middle of your life wondering how the **** you fell asleep
