Education in Jamaica??

Question

Are people in Jamaica interested in education? And what about foreign languages? Is the education system good? How many foreign languages do Jamaicans study on average (and what languages)?

You see, I would like to open a language school there or become a teacher at a college so I want to know if it is worth going there or wheather my work will not be appreciated.
