I have a 7yr old who has proven to be brilliant at school so far. I have this idea of putting him directly into doing computer engineering emidiately after grade 7, starting from the very basic so I don't stress him. U see, I want him to be fully qualified before he turns 20

  1. While every parent wants the best for their child it is important for you to think about what your child wants.  While we would all love to be engineers, doctors, and lawyers because of the salaries they make.  There are so many sacrifices each make in order to do so.  Your child will be successful at those things in which he can become passionate about.  If your dream for him is to be an engineer and it's not something he's interested in.  It won't work.  Let him be a child and encourage him to get involved in many different things: academic, arts, and extracurricular based activities.  Your love and support along the way will allow him to find the career that suits him without you selecting it for him.

  2. I don't think you'll be able to unless you put him in accelerated programs now. If you want him to be fully qualified he will have to go to university/college for which he needs to have gone to high school and not just primary school

He can probably go into a computer club or class which will help him excel in computers either in primary or secondary school.
