I want my students to respect me and know they can trust me. I will provide a consistent and stable presence no matter what circumstances await them outside of the walls of my classroom. I want them to know that I am fair, considerate, and compassionate. I want them to view me as likable and look forward to our time in the classroom because I have realistic expectations. I will find ways to present lessons that meet the varied learning styles of my many students and find ways to challenge them to reach that next step of achievement. Also, I will make it clear to my students that I expect them to show each other fairness, consideration, kindness and compassion.

  1. The only thing you should change is the part where you say "I want them to view me as likable." Take that out and simply write, "I want them to look forward to our time in the classroom..."
