Question:

Edward Cullen and electricity?

So in Twilight there's a section where they're watching a movie on a TV in their Biology class, and the moment it turns on Bella says there's a feeling like an electric current between her and Edward, and it seems like it's coming from him.

I never really got what that was about, does anyone know?

I mean, I remember later when they're watching Romeo & Juliet, but it never mentions anything about it.

  1. It's not literal.

It's just an attraction between the two - you know, because it's dark and they're less than a foot away from each other.. ;D

  2. It's just that love metaphor thingy.

  3. I think because the lights are down and they are watching a movie that it just heightens Bella's reactions to Edward and "feels an electric current" -- just to show how connected they are.  I don't think it is literal or has anything to do with electricity.  She is just soooo connected that she feels "electricity" when she is with him.  I have experienced that with someone; haven't you?

  4. It's JUST metaphoric.

You know, because there's so much chemistry between them, when there was physical contact it was a "shock", and electrical current.

  5. Hmm. I thought it was just chemistry happening between them and not anything specific... But I'm not sure...

  6. she just talking about how she want to touch him its metaphorical

she talking about the pull between them but its not real its just an urge to be close to him

  7. She doesnt mean that they actually get electrocuted when they touch.

Shes just using it as a metaphor, meaning that it feels special and tingly when they touch, and when there together it like 'electric' cause they are ment to be together..
