Edward Scissorhands....???

well i just saw edward scissorhands with johnny depp....and towards the end he's in that factory thing and that old man shows him prostetic hands...what happend to the old man...i don't get it did edward kill him? or did the old man have a heart attack? it really confused me!

Vincent Price had a heart attack and died before he was able to place the prostethic hands on Edward. This showed that Edward had to do the best he could with what he had, which was scissors for hands.

Yep, the old man had a heart attack.  Scissorhands never would've killed him.
