Dave Edwards signs new Wolves deal
Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Dave Edwards has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2014.
The Welsh international has struggled to secure a regular starting place under Mick McCarthy but says he is delighted to sort out the new deal. The contract includes the option of an extra year.
Edwards said: "Wolves are a good club for keeping the squad together and offering deals to players working as hard
as they can. We've been in talks for quite a while and it's a great confidence booster to feel wanted."

versatile midfield player at the club. It's important for Wolves to retain versatile players who can increase squad depth.
He only made 19 appearances in total last season but a new contract shows the club values him as a player. The new deal should satisfy any doubts he has over the part he
