Reja believes that his side was clearly better in the match and they could have gone onto win if it was not for the referee’s decisions. The veteran tactician believes that Dias’ booking was extremely harsh as it was an accidental clash. He insisted that
these kinds of decisions tend to change the outcome of the match and Lazio suffered from it this time.

Apart from the refereeing errors, Reja believes that his team should improve certain aspects of their game while playing against the top sides. The 66-year-old has urged his men to remain focused on the game for full 90 minutes.
