The Biancazzurri boss hails his team’s spirit and urges them to keep their standards high in the future games
Lazio manager, Edy Reja, has blasted the critics who thought that the Biancazzurri will struggle in the second-half of the season.

Reja believes that the critics have been ‘unjustified and gratuitous’ with their assumptions, and his team have proved them wrong. The veteran tactician insisted that his team was playing good football but results did not favour
them of late. He insisted that his team deserved to win against Inter Milan recently, but poor refereeing and bad luck cost them the match.

“I always read the newspapers, also as I’m so accustomed to being slammed. Criticism is the bread and butter of football journalism, if it is constructive, but at times it is unjustified and gratuitous. In these cases, it is really
bad for the sport.”
The 66-year-old is confident that the victory will raise the moral of the team, and they will bounce back strongly in the future games.
“I hope this victory can calm the atmosphere around Lazio, recharge our batteries and boost our enthusiasm.” added the former Napoli boss
