The Biancazzurri manager confident of beating the Nerazzurri at San Siro; the former Napoli boss satisfied with his team’s efforts so far this season..
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 manager, Edy Reja, is confident that his side will beat in-form, Inter Milan, when the two teams meet in the coming weekend.
The Nerazzurri will host Lazio at the San Siro on Sunday, January 22, 2012. Both teams are looking genuine contenders for the Scudetto, as Lazio are placed fourth in the league table, while http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 are one place behind them.
Claudio Ranieri’s men are enjoying a great run of form, as they have registered six consecutive league wins. The 2011 Coppa Italia winners defeated the Italian Champions, A.C Milan, in their recent league game.
Reja has hailed Inter’s win over the Rossoneri, and believes that they are looking extremely strong both mentally and physically. However, he feels that his team is ready to take on the San Siro giants, and he is 100 percent sure
of winning the match.
While talking to the reporters, Edy Reja said,
“Inter put in another great performance last night. They are a strong team physically and mentally. However, we will go to Milan at the weekend looking for a win – I’m 100 per cent sure of that.”
The Biancocelesti have suffered a barren run of late, but two consecutive wins have put them back on track. The veteran tactician insisted that his team struggled to find the rhythm after Christmas, but they are back in business.
“You can have a black-out after the winter break because you are not used to certain rhythms. I just hope that our dip has already come to an end…” added the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 boss
Lazio have picked up 33 points from 18 matches played thus far, and are just five points behind leaders, Juventus. On the other hand, Inter have claimed 32 points from the same number of matches.
The capital side has not enjoyed playing against Inter in the past, as their last win against them came almost 14 years ago. Inter have not enjoyed playing against the title contenders so far this season, and have witnessed defeats
