The Biancocelesti have registered their first win over the Italian Champions since 1998, and Reja is extremely delighted with the result. The veteran tactician believes that his team contained the opposition extremely well and exposed their weaknesses in the midfield.
The 67-year-old heaped special praise on Senad Lulic and Alejandro Gonzalez for their contributions in the game, and believes that the duo had a major role in their victory.
Reja admitted that his team did not play well in the first 45 minutes, but they stepped up their performances in the second-half. He believes that his current bunch of players can make a huge impact as they have the required mentality to achieve big things.
While talking to the reporters, Edy Reja said,
“We had to close down the spaces and stop Milan’s midfielders from pushing forward. We played a good game and didn’t allow much at the back. I am very satisfied with the lads, who showed great determination in an emergency situation."

Reja also revealed a row with the club technical director, Igli Tare, over the failed transfers on deadline day of January transfer window. The manager believes that if his team keeps playing like this, they do not need any signings.
