The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 manager declared that he has received offers for his services from various French Ligue 1 outfits, and stated that he was pondering over them.
The Italian is regarded as one of the finest managers in the Serie A, having turned around the fortunes of many clubs, most notably his endeavours at Napoli and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775.
Reja guided the Partenopei outfit from the Serie C to Serie A in three consecutive seasons, he built the foundations of the team that has been doing so well over the course of these past few seasons. Walter Mazzarri has done much
justice at the club following his appointment as the San Paolo outfit’s head coach.
Lazio had limited resources last season as their squad had a weakened depth in their squad. Reja threatened to quit from his post as the head coach on two occasions, however, his request was denied by the President of the Biancazzurri.
Regardless of his resources, Reja made the most of his situation and led the club battling into the last weeks of Serie A in pursuit of the last UEFA Champions League spot.
The 66-year-old decided to take a break from football and quit as the manager of Lazio after the end of the campaign. Despite the insistence of the club President to stay at the club, Reja was adamant on leaving this time around.
However, that did not stop clubs from inquiring whether he was still interested in a return to the game.
Reja acknowledged that there has been interest in his services from across Europe, in particular from clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899. The veteran tactician was giving an interview to Lazio Style Radio and during a candid interview, he went on
to state that there was truth in the speculation linking him with moves to certain French outfits.
He went on to comment that he is still assessing his options and stated:
"Let's see. There is something there; I have received some offers."
