The Biancocelesti manager insists that the club’s hopes of UEFA Champions League qualification can drown amidst failing concentration.
Edy Reja admits that Lazio have a grave problem in the form of poor team attentiveness, and insists that the club can drop from the crucial third spot in Serie A, if they do not buckle up quickly.
The Biancocelesti risk a fumble from the last UEFA Champions League qualification spot, after the team conceded two early goals in their 3-1 defeat to Parma.
The manager insisted that the team’s campaign to retaining their current league position will crash in the absence of focus in the field. He relented that one odd goal is acceptable but a couple conceded is too big a disaster to recover in 90 minutes.
While talking to the media, the former Napoli boss said:
“You cannot concede two goals in the first 12 minutes. We’ll go nowhere if we continue to have this lack of concentration. A goal can happen, but two is unacceptable. After the 2-1 we tried to get back into it, but the third finished off the game and we
were no longer able to react. “
The Aquile chief dismissed any notion that the defensive errors have anything to do with the change in the formation. The tactician that he used the two strikers to disrupt the Parma defence, but the plan backfired because the players were too distracted

“We had several chances to extend our lead in the race for a Champions League spot, but were unable to do so and that means we’ve got a problem.”
