The Biancazzurri bosses have officially announced the resignation of Edy Reja; however, they have refused to accept it and are looking to convince the tactician.
Lazio manager, Edy Reja, has made no secret to the club’s failings in the January transfer window, saying that he was not backed by the management.
As a result, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 boss has resigned from his post at the Stadio Olimpico Rome, and will manage the club for one final time in the second-leg of the last 32 round of UEFA Europa League.
The club failed to provide the manager with the required players in January transfer window, and there has been a tussle going on between the club’s higher management and the coach since then.
The Biancazzurri coach has had terrible luck with injuries, which has forced him to alter his defensive line-up for majority of the recent games. The players have not been getting proper rest in the tough
fixture schedule, which has also reflected in their performances.

Lazio’s communications director, Stefano Di Martino, was addressing the press over the situation, and remarked,
“Reja presented his resignation today at 14.00, but the club rejected it, so nothing has changed. When we return to Rome, everyone will make their evaluations. We give this announcement to clarify matters for the fans.”
The director went on to say that the club have not accepted the Italian’s resignation and they will see to the matter after the Europa League tie.
“Reja sent a written copy of his resignation, but Lazio turned it down. The Coach is here now and we’ll see what happens on Friday.”
