Eevee breeding question. pokemon pearl.

i got a female eevee and a ditto and they had like 14 eggs, they hatched, and all of the eevees were male. was it just bad luck, or will the eggs always be male no matter what?

Eevee only has a 1/8 chance of being female so you might end up getting 20 somthing males before getting a female. Because 1/8 doesn't mean that if you have 8 eggs one will be female. It took me almost 30 eggs to get a female chimchar, the gender ratio's are the same.
