Effective method to shrink clothes?

i need to shrink my ae clothes so what should i do?

i know abotu hot water and hot dryer.......................

but ive also heard about using hot water and then cold water then drying to shrink....is this true?

depends on the clothes and what its made of... cotton shrinks, nylon don't

Most of the time if you wash them in hot water and dry them in the dryer.
