I don't think you have enough info in your question. Do you mean what should be taught in a library class? Or, do you mean how should the library be used? I will answer both: IMHO the most effective use of a library is one where the students are not only taught how to find information in the library, but also one that they can then look for info and get a chance to use the library. During my library classes, I not only taught them how to find info, but we used that knowledge by giving them situations where they could put this into practice.
