Effective ways of killing wasps??

What are some effective ways of getting rid of wasps? They have taken over the grill in my backyard and it has gotten to the point where I am terrified to go into the backyard in fear they will chase me again. What are some ways to effectively get rid of them? Or, should I just call a professional to do this? Thanks!

Any home and garden center such as Lowes, Home Depot, Wal Mart, etc.  have pest control products that help control wasps and other flying pests.  Ortho has a spray that can blast wasps and their nests from 20 feet away.  I keep this spray close at hand whenever I am outside because I am very allergic.  You won't be able to get rid of them completely, not even a professional exterminator can do this, but you can at least have access to your backyard and your grill.  Just keep zapping them with the spray and knocking out their nests and they will build someplace else, hopefully much further away.
