Effective ways of promoting a Yahoo group???

Question

Hi. I have a Yahoo group and noone has joined in the last three days. I don't want my group to be inactive, so i was looking for some help.

That's my group. I think the group is pretty good, but i still can't get people to join. I AM NOT ADVERTISING THE GROUP. I AM NOT ASKING YOU TO JOIN. If you feel like joining you decide what to do. I am looking for effective ways of promoting the group. Please help me. For example, there are a lot of things that are awesome about this group, the photos section (73% used). Please give some ideas, i really want my group to grow.

ONCE AGAIN: THIS IS NOT TO PROMOTE THE GROUP. I AM NOT ASKING YOU TO JOIN.

All i want to know is how to make people join

Don't beg - just make the topic of discussion interesting.

gaining members doesn't happen over night, and you have a good start going on there. a 3 day period really is nothing to be worrying about. you could have 30 members and still have a very active group.

to gain members takes the interest of topic for one- if it's not a popular topic, you wont get alot of members. you can take your promote code and add it to other sites you may have not related to Yahoo, like myspace, other free web domains. the promote code will direct people to your group. there is alot of free sites out there you can join that use search engines, title a page with key words.
