Effective ways to loose wight on a busy schedule?

I'm quite busy with school, but i do want to fit in time for some exercising and healthy eating.

I feel like I'm way over me head.

I don't know where to start. From what foods I should eat, what I shouldn't and how to exercise.

Any tips on loosing weight effectively and keeping it off? And hopefully before this coming summer...

PS- I know all bodies are different, and no body is perfect, but i want to set my goal to maybe a few pounds heavier then this girl:

First you should make sure you are in good health before starting any diet and exercise program but the best place to start is not to overhaul your entire diet all at once, this will set you up for failure for sure, start out with replacing high calorie soda's and juices  Water is the best for loosing weight because it flushes your system as well as hydrates your skin and organs.  Sometimes people will eat high calorie foods thinking they are hungry when in fact their body is craving water.  The next step is exercise, start out slow like walking for 20-30 minutes a day and then after a week or so add more time and a few strength exercises.  A great place to find a perfect workout suited to your body type or needs is www.self.com.  It's a magazine but you can access it on line and it will give you all kind of tips on dieting and exercising.
