What are the effects mentally and physically from the consumption of coffee?

I have just started drinking coffee daily and I really like it don't know why I never drank it before but anyway... I have about 2/3 cups a day, I haven't been noticing anything different in myself other than being awake but that is a good feeling. My question is if i drink coffee for a while longer will i start to see the effects?

Thanks

  1. to start with nothing match, it's true you are aware because the caffeine content what makes you and gives you the awarness. if you start dringking early in the morning but not after 4 pm you will recover your habit of sleeping otherwise you will have difficulties to find your sleep and the same thing with tea.I myself I never drink coffee not only because of inconvient finding myself at night because i am insomniac but also because i don't want my teeth becomes black the same thing if you've been smoking for years. I got a natural bright teeth and shiny because I neither drink tea, coffee, nor coke or pepsi. so if you are aware of your natural beauty these things are a hidden tips to maintain a hidden charm like the colour of out teeth and to avoid also going to dentist for yearly cleaning, i go every 2 years unless urgent

  2. It stains your teeth.

  3. Its good for you.

  4. It will give you more energy until your body is used to it.  You will notice more effects when you have it everyday and then stop alltogether.

  5. Coffee, according to my husband's cardiologist, is a good thing but only in moderation. If you drink it black, no sugar and not milk, it is much more beneficial. You should not worry about the effects with the small quantity you consume daily.

  6. If you are having just 2-3 cups a day, then there are not going to be any major problems in the future. Caffeine is a natural substance and the rule of thumb (which is the same for anything) is 'okay in moderation'.

From experience, be careful on the amount you drink. It can be very easy to be drinking lots and lots of coffee without realising it due to the addictive nature of caffeine. Try not to drink coffee later than mid afternoon so that you will still be able to have a good night's sleep.

If you begin drinking a lot more coffee and you want to either cut down or stop, then do it slowly. Your body can become dependent on caffeine very quickly and if you stop suddenly, you can develop flu like symptoms which can last for several days to several weeks depending on how much you drink.

I used to drink between 10-14 cups a day and before I knew about the withdrawal symptoms I gave up suddenly - it is very rough I can tell you! And my doctor said to never give up instantly if you drink excessive amounts as it can be fatal, but you do need to be drinking a lot for this to happen. I have looked on the internet in the past and this has been confirmed. I forget where, but try wikipedia for caffeine.

    Hope that helps.

  7. addiction

  8. Coffee has caffeine in it. Caffeine is a stimulant. As such you may experience side effects like:

    Loose stool

    Agitation

    Tremors

    Sleeplessness

    Increased blood pressure

    Increased heart rate

    Withdrawal headaches

    Staining of teeth

    Decreased appetite

You probably already experience a small increase in the side effects as it is, but I wouldn't worry about it.

  9. dont take this as a joke but the more you drink the less you'll grow. my 20 year old sister is 4ft 10in and she would always drink coffee. and my family consist of tall (6ft) people.
