What are the current and possible future effects of global warming? A list would be nice.

B) More animal life because there will be more plants to eat and more shelter.

C) The growing season will lengthen and shift further north (there is more land mass in the Northern Hemisphere).

D) Longer growing season more farm ground equals more food.

See God is looking out for us. As our need grow he just shifts the farm ground to where we can grow more food.

Mr. Gore, some junk scientists, lobbyists and unscrupulous business's are getting very rich.  So far that's the only effect.  There will never be climatic changes, because it's  not happening.

The current effects are a 0.6 degree increase in global surface temperatures.  The International Panel on Climate Change predicts that tempreatures will rise a further 1.4-5.8 degrees by 2100.  Implications could include:

-A global sea level rise of up to 50cm caused by thermal expansion of water and the melting of ice caps,

-A shorter growing season in large parts of Africa, leading to famine

-Increased extinction rates

-Increased coral loss

-Increased damage from floods and storms

-Loss of coastal wetlands and fertile coast areas e.g. the nile delta

The effects of global warming is that the ozone layer in the atmosphere is getting thinner so the suns UV rays would be more penetrable and would melt our northern and southern ice caps and rise the water levels and flood many ocean border countries or states including the united states this could also lead to another ice age. So be careful when using aerosol sprays and cans also when driving old cars that release lots of smoke and factories also contribute to this allot

Future Effects:

1) Flowers will morph into meatballs with a radius of 5.32 centimetres.  These new flowers will absorb bumblebees because of their need to sustain their meat content.

2) Polar bears will evolve over the course of 7.4564 years into yetis approximately 9.234 feet in height with ocre yellow fur. These new polar bears will absorb sunlight and water and expell bananas.

3) A huge volcano will sprout in the middle of North America, made entirely out of marble and containing magma that looks suspiciously like grapefruit juice. The strength of its eruption will spout the magma everywhere, which will solidify and form a pinkish sticky goo over the crust.

haha i am currently doing a powerpoint presentation on global warming for my chemistry class. here's a list:

1. Increasing temperatures are likely to lead to increasing precipitation.

2. Increasing temperatures are expected to produce more intense convection over land and a higher frequency of severe storms.

3. Scientists think that increased evaporation could result in more extreme weather as global warming progresses.

4.Although some areas will become wetter due to global warming, others will suffer severe droughts and heat waves. Africa will receive the worst of this.

5. Extreme temperatures can directly cause the loss of life.

6. Deadly diseases often associated with hot weather like the West Nile virus, Cholera, and Lyme disease are spreading rapidly throughout North America and Europe because increased temperatures in these areas allow disease carriers like mosquitoes, ticks, and mice to thrive.

7. The average temperature has increased 0.74ºC (1.35ºF)

8. Worsening storms caused by global warming could eventually make the insurance industry go bankrupt.

13. Studies have shown that polar bear numbers have decreased by ¼ in just 20 years and so has their physique.

Global warming has caused their habitat to disappear.

Survival chances, especially for females, are getting thinner.

14. Studies have shown that the growth of white spruce trees have been stunted because of global warming.

15. Global warming has caused plants to flower earlier.
