What can happen to a person if they study too much? By too much I mean every available moment they have, they study - not an exaggeration.

  1. You will burn yourself out. It's harder to retain information, and you will find yourself reading the same thing over and over again. You will feel faint, tired, exhausted, and become moody. I recommend time management, good organization, and some time for yourself. There are 24 hours in a day, why not spend ONE of them on you?

  2. Their sleep schedule would be utterly destroyed. They're probably abusing caffeine, which can make you severely dehydrated and dependent, among other risks. Major depression is also a strong possibility; it may even be a cause of the person's overstudying since they seem to want to devote more time to hitting the books than doing other activities which they used to find enjoyable.

  3. Ok trust me from experience. Every time I over study my brain crashes during the test, and I forget half of the stuff I know. Just study the specific areas that you don't know. If you know something don't bother studying it. Too much studying can stress out your brain.
