  1. doom and gloom.

  2. Gloabl warming isn't true. People who say it is only base it on what politions say. But what do politions base it on?

How can they say the Earth is warming when they're actual data research is limited to 50 years. Yes, there is environment evidence, that shows the Earth's climate patterns from the last billion years, but that is raw, and has not even been processed. So how can people say it is true when they're basing it on nothing?

Anyway to answer your question; acid rain- which corrodes on building etc. Build up of smog. And it affects your overall well being (brain damge)

  3. heating of the air.........

  4. Coral reefs are very delicate ecosystems. when excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere reacts with sea water it can produce carbonic acid which is a major factor in the bleaching of coral.

  5. CO2 is used by plants for photosynthesis -- it basically acts as a fertilizer.  So CO2 can stimulate plant growth.  This is not always good because it can promote the growth of weedy plants over agricultural or native plants (i.e. the weedy plants respond more rapidly to CO2 fertilization than other plants, and the weedy plants grow better).

Increasing levels of CO2 (and warming) can also change the distribution of plants (i.e. altering the limits of their range or changing in which areas they grow the best).  This can affect both natural systems and agricultural crops.

The two articles below go into detail about how CO2 and warming temperatures change physical and biological systems.
