Hi, want to know people's experience efiling of IT returns online. All my tax is deducted at source.

I filed through http://myitreturn.com (Skorydov) and found it very good - took me about 5 minutes in toto. You need Form-16(s) and the software is very east to use. The flip side is that they charge you 199 for filing.

You also have https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/por... that allows you to file free of cost; they use a Macro-enabled XLS sheet which then needs to be converted to XML (with a simple click of bitton on XLS sheet) and uploaded. But from what I hear from my friends, they have not been able to get the proper calculations through this XLS sheet and ended up filinf wrong returns. In addition, while the earlier site calculates everything including interest payable, this does not.

In your case since TDS is full, the aforementioned is not an issue.

In both cases, if you do not have a digital signature, you need to take a print-out of your ITR-V and submit it to IT Dept. In effect, if you do not have a digital signature, you need to visit the IT Dept (or atleast send an agent for this).
