  1. Communism/Socialism sounds good on paper. However, it doesn't work in reality because incentives to invest and produce are not there. Since the means of production are owned by the state under Communism/Socialism, there is no strong incentive for investment because there is no profit motive. Without investment, technology and methods soon become outdated and the products produced become obsolete. Further, since everyone is paid equally under Communism/Socialism, there is no incentive for additional production. You work hard. You do a better job, but get paid the same as the worker who doesn't do anything. You learn quickly that the only reward in busting your butt is getting more work to do (from each according to ability and to each according to need). So you stop producing.

The free market system works because it provides incentive to investment (profit and economic viability) and production (increased wages through bonuses, promotions, etc.).

  2. major flaw with communism....everyone is equal but some people are exempt from this...so in which ever form you see communism it really doesnt work, look at the former USSR

  3. Separate Currencies for each specialty Corporate, Trades People, Reg Gov Currency, and others. Not exactly Communism but close maybe this might be something all could accept. Also all corporate types to hold power only through the popular vote not through share holder vote or otherwise. Accountability.

  4. Most important, it requires force hence 'Dictatorship' to implement.

Some things just sound good on paper.

  5. It has been tried and it never worked.

  6. Utopic, that is what communism is, it may work on the paper..., in the real world it is not really possible, I lived most of my life in a communist country, being equal in rights is only something communism would like to be, what really happens is dictatorship and corruption.

  7. No matter how good it is on paper someone is at the top deciding who gets what.  That person always gets more and the bubble gets busted!

  8. THE PARTY ELETE WILL GET EVERYTHING THE PEASANTS WILL GET NOTHING

  9. Communism puts a few in control of who gets what. And the deals will always be one for the masses and two(or more) for the few. In any type of society or government there is not enough room at the top for everyone, but In under capitalism many people will have a chance to be one of the "evil rich". Some of the most useless ideas and abilities have made many Americans rich. It would not happen under communism of any kind. Under socialism you have the chance to become rich but the politicians will dock your pay considerably and then they will tell you what you can and can't do with the rest.

  10. The people who understand and care about such specific ideals are divided between hundreds of such 'good ideas'. I personally am an egalitarian capitalist federalist. And so you see the problem. All the ideas are good, but the follwers divided between them.

  11. Material Egalitarianism is wrong and should be avoided.  I do believe; however, that there should be a standard that should be met on both sides of the economical spectrum.

In other words, I believe there should be restrictions on people who are TOO rich and help for those who are TOO poor.  The current systems are not working when millionaires don't pay taxes and people stricken with poverty are given free money with no incentive to better themselves.  Watch for my book.
