I made some today and they were so flat and almost so oilly you can probably fill up about 20 napkins with the oil..

Its one of those betty crockers mixes

i used baking powder instead of 2 eggs...........

and my cousin added 2 tsps of sour cream..

the brownies didnt go so well..

what can i use for an alternative to make the brownies fluffy and not oily at all.

almost so soft you can break them with your fingers and eat like cake..

  1. One small banana (preferably over-ripe) mixed with 1/2 tsp of baking powder.  Whisk into a smooth paste.  Equals one egg.

Although the exact same recipe replacement can be used with any fruit puree... I just think chocolate and bananas make a great combination!

  2. 1 rounded tbsp of soy flour + 2 tbsp water is the equivalent to an egg in baking.

  3. you can use applesauce. if you were trying to make vegan brownies (im assuming you were since you are looking for an alternitive) then i hope you know that sour cream is not vegan. another thing you can use is flex seeds mixed with water.

  4. try unsweetened applesauce or bananas. The applesauce works way better, i tried it. Use one lunch cup size to equal 4 eggs. Thats what i did, hope it worls for you too

they turn out soft n chewy

  5. applesauce!

oh yeah, try making blueberry pancakes with bananas instead of eggs (really good!)

  6. 1 egg = 5tbs of oil. (Cooking oil or olive oil or sunflower oil or...)

  7. i am a vegan and i use "ener g" egg replacer ! it works great ! people can never tell the difference !

  8. Apple sauce. Sour cream? yuk!
