  1. It's sounds like your bird is egg bound.  You really should take the bird to the vet right away, because egg binding can kill a bird.  In the mean time, if you can put a heating pad underneath whatever you line their cage with on low heat in half of the cage, it could help her.  Make sure you have a thick layer between the element and the bird, though, and that she still has a place in the cage without a heating pad to cool off.

  2. You can put a little mineral oil around her vent to help it slide out.  Then I would put her in a shoe box with a cozy towel under her and place the box on low heat. If she is alone in the box with the heat she might relax enough to pass the egg.  The oil, Vaseline... any oil will help.  Leave her be other than that and let it pass and not break inside of her.  Mine always pass the egg if I do the above. Good luck

  3. Best thing for your bird is to take it to the Vet.

  4. this webb site will help

  5. i think its time for abig mini operation. i am serios. maybe if you do it fast. the egg might get rotten and the bird might die

  6. Hi,

One old remedy which i have seen in books is to get the bird tip it on its back and rub olive oil around the birds vent to allow it to slip through.

Personally i have never needed to use it so can't say whether it works, but hay its worth a try if it saves your bird.

  7. well try vaseline or take it to the vet.
